My experience at Linwood Public Charter School has been great! I am very impressed with the academic progress that my son has shown for the past two school terms. He has improved in many areas. I only wish that there was an elementary and high school for the future of his siblings. My son has always been exposed to great education. He attended a Magnet Elementary school before enrolling in LPCS for middle school. He was always an honor student. In the beginning I noticed his grades begin to drop, I then begin to question this issue. I soon realized that LPCS was a challenge for my son, and I noticed that the knowledge that he was receiving here was more than he could receive if he was attending a Caddo school in the area. I begin to push him to keep on pace. I feel that the method of learning at Linwood Public Charter School is a new system that was absent in our children for so long. Let’s keep the Sabis system around, because I know it could benefit our kids in so many ways.

I like Student Life because it is a good & fun activity for all students. It’s also a fun activity because it’s the second to last period of the day and we can run around & talk to each other while outside or inside.

I love the honor and school pride, the effort the teachers put into each students that may not totally understand the assignments, I love the kind and patient office staff and I love the concern that the staff has towards the student and their parents

At Linwood Public Charter School the best thing I like is Student Life (SLO). The reason why I like student life is because I get to mingle with my friends, learn how to cook and sew in my clubs and I always get to join my favorite club or group.

… In 2009 the former Linwood Middle School was desperate for change, and the State of Louisiana answered with Linwood Public Charter School. I have been so pleased with the caliber of faculty and staff that lead my children daily in their quest for knowledge… The extra-curricular activities offered to the students at Linwood Public Charter School are character building activities with emphasis on teamwork and attitude. The Linwood Public Charter School staff also provide a safe environment for learning. I would recommend Linwood Public Charter School to anyone interested in receiving a first class public education.

It is a wonderful school that builds character. This school provides the basic foundation for students to be able to excel in the two most important subjects: English and math. The staff at the school has been there to answer my questions and have always greeted me with a smile. If you are a parent that want the best for your childs education then Linwood Public Charter School is your school.
