Ring the Alarm
On Friday December 3rd at 1:50pm Linwood Public Charter School officially kicked off its LEAP awareness with their 1st ever “Ring the Alarm LEAP Rally”.
At 1:50pm, city officials (Shreveport Police, Shreveport Fire Department, City Marshall’s Office, Caddo Sheriff’s Office, Shreveport SWAT, Barksdale AFB Representatives, Global Strike Command Center, Army Depot, Naval Academy Officers, Life Share, and many more) met at Substation 9 and conducted a processional to LPCS with their sirens ringing to alert our students and community that the LEAP and iLEAP are right around the corner. City officials were on hand to discuss the importance of passing the upcoming exams as well as staying in school and doing their very best.
We were so excited about the opportunity to have so many city officials in our school at one time for an occasion that made a tremendous impact on our students.
It was an AWESOME day!
